September was another good and busy month. We started out by going camping at Seneca Lake with our branch and got to stay in cabins, we had a lot of fun. The best thing is getting away from the hustle and bustle of every day life!!! I can only relax if there is not washing machine, computer, vacuum, or ironing board around! ;).
Lucy started Kindergarten! Her in NY it's all day - 8am-2:30pm - so it was quite a change. She loves school though and loves her friends, teacher, and school work. Her favorite things are gym and recess of course :). But she also loves art class, music class, and computer lab. She can read and count to 100, and yesterday she tied her shoes by herself!!! So that was a great step :). I love when she comes home from school and tells me all about her day, it's such a great teaching opportunity for me too, to help her work through feelings and problems, and laugh and smile with her! She is doing great in school and we are so proud of her! Something funny she said last week, "moms are big cows!" (I am nursing Lincoln still). ha ha! It was funny, she meant to say big cows are moms :). She put two and two together you know? ;)
Logan hasn't minded at all that Lucy's been gone - he loves it when she is home, but he loves all the attention he gets from me as well - going and running errands with me, playing with just me, and he is a lot nicer to Lincoln when Lucy is not around ;), she seems to rile him up! ha ha! It's been good for him. He loves coloring super hero pictures, that's been his thing this month, last month it was superhero puzzles. He likes you to call him by a superhero name, he'll let you know which one :). He won't answer to Logan sometimes, he'll say "mom, say 'come here wolverine'". What a character! He repeats the phrase, "mom, we don't say stupid ha?" and, "mom I like you," or "mom I love you," or if he isn't happy with something you did, "mom, I don't like you". At least he is honest and I always know how he is feeling! ha ha!
Lincoln is grabbing EVERYTHING and rolling over and almost sitting up. He is cute as a button and loves to laugh. He loves him mommy and looks for me whenever he is with anyone else :), especially Lucy or Logan! ha ha!
Cory is now working part-time for LDS family services and (which he has been doing for the last year) but now he is getting paid closer to what he is worth!!! Plus going working on his PhD and working for his professor at the college. So he is really busy!
