Silly Girl...

On Sunday after church and naps Lucy asked us if we wanted to play the "Teacher Game" so we said, "sure".  She went on to tell us how it went.  She had Cory sit on a step stool in the middle of the family room and stood about 10 feet in front of him,  I guess that would make her the "teacher" and Cory the "student."

She started naming animals and holding up toy animals and asking Cory if he knew what sounds they made, like a monkey.  If he got it right she said, "yup" and then danced and sang a little made-up song about animals and "what animals can you find..." etc.  Don't know where it all came from but it was hilarious!  She had me be the student too, and eventually I had to be the teacher, glad no one saw that, the things we do for our kids!

It was really cute to watch her, it always is!  She is becoming quite the entertainer these days.  She loves to sing and dance and act things out, and is very dramatic about everything, hmm, don't know where she gets that? :).

Another thing, whenever we go to the park and there are other kids there she immediately goes and says, "friend, want to play with me?"  Yes, she calls everyone near her age friend, it's cute, and just assumes that they are all her friends, isn't that how life should be?  What a social butterfly!  There doesn't seem to be a shy bone in her body!  (Logan is another story)  Back to Lucy though, in church she yells out "Hi" to the people she knows and gets SO excited to see them all, it's so cute, though a little embarassing.  She has got her own personality!

Another thing, we are not the "noisy section" in church anymore, we are just one of them :).  A bunch of families moved into our branch recently and they all have 1-3 kids.  Lucy now has 2 girls and a boy that are regulars in her primary class and I have at least 4 kids in mine usually, what a change!  It's pretty cool, so we are all praying to get a larger building soon :).  You can join in and pray for our little branch too - things keep falling through.

Now to Logan, he is so shy!  And it's mainly around other little kids, he is scared of them.  More so when he is tired, but still.  He is a very lovable boy though, we love his hugs!  Once he warms up to the kids he does pretty good though, and he does better when Cory and I aren't around, then starts crying when we are there, go figure!  Church is quite a treat with him now though!  I am in primary so Cory has him during class, he is counting down the days until he can go to nursery :).  There is never a perfect time for church, it always cuts into their nap times, oh well!  It's all worth it right?

Anyway, just a few facts about our lives with the kids right now, it's great!

Lucy is so hilarious! Did you by chance get any of this on tape? I would have loved to be a fly on the wall!

So funny. By the way, I love all your family pictures on the side. Lucy looks like a little model in her picture. :)

I love all your pictures on the blog. They are so great looking! The videos are fun to watch too. Your blog really is top notch. I love imagining you guys as the students while Lucy teaches you everything. How cute.
