November 2010 recap...

November was a busy and fun month. My parents came to visit and we loved having them. They took the kids swimming in the hotel pool and my dad got Logan to swim on his own with a life jacket on! It was great! He had a rough start, so it was a nice surprise :). The kids had fun. My parents were here for our first snow, the weather wasn't very good so we were inside a lot. But we did get to go to Howe Caverns and that was really neat, about an hour 1/2 away. It reminded me of Timpanogos caves, but it was underground and you didn't hike to it. We also got to go on a boat ride inside and then they turned off all the lights at the end, where there was a waterfall with a chain across (so we couldn't go down) but that was kinda freaky! We had a lot of fun with my parents here. They came to say "Hi" and "Goodbye" because they are now on a mission in Viet nam for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They are doing a humanitarian mission and staying very busy. I am proud of them :).

We also went to NYC the day before Thanksgiving. Cory works for LDS family services and had a meeting down there, and they pay for the travel, gas, and company car, so we all went with. It was a fun day, we waited for Cory at the Manhattan Church building (which was pretty cool), then we walked through Central Park and went and saw the balloons being blown up for the Thanksgiving Parade the next day. The kids enjoyed that - man it was PACKED! So busy! Kinda crazy! Just hold on to your loved ones so they don't get swept away! ha ha! It's about a 3 1/2 hr drive from our house to NYC.

So here is a little slideshow with some pictures of our month...

(you will want to pause the music player to the lower right first).
