Little Shrek

Most of my free time this October was spent on making these home-made Shrek costumes. Lucy absolutely loves the Shrek movie so I thought it was the perfect idea for Halloween. What a cute pair our two kids make huh?

We went to a Stake Halloween party at the Stake center where Lucy got to see other kids in the stake dressed up, play games, and trunk-r-treat. We had a lot of fun. It was nice for me to meet some other people with toddlers too (in the stake).

Little Laughables

2011.04.20 Dad is going to play basketball. Logan says, "dad I will miss you so very much!" and gives him a hug and kiss ;)
2011.03.15 Logan - "Mom you are pretty, Lucy you are pretty, and dad you are cool."
2010.10 "you're the best mom," and, "thank you for making me happy." She said this to me tonight and gave me a big hug. These are the things that make being a mom all worth while!
2009 "I am scared the Nephites will come and get me" don't know where that came from, we will have to change Nephites to Lamanites.
2008.09 Lucy has a dentist apt soon, her front teeth have been hurting (she cracked one when she was 2) and so I told her we were going to go to the dentist and she said, "I hope the dentist will give me two new teeth."
2008.08 Lucy was unknowingly choking Logan and so I told her we can't choke and described what choking was and explained that it could really hurt Logan and he could die. Tears filled up in her eyes and she said, "Logan can't die, then we would have to find a new baby," and then she started to cry. Man, this girl has a lot of love for her brother, so special. Aug '08
2008.07 "Are you silly?" Lucy likes to say this to Logan and sometimes daddy :)
2008.05 Lucy found Logan's binkie that I was searching for and yelled, "mom, I rescued you!" then she said, "I saved the day!" It was cute!
2008.04.29 Today Lucy saw a spider and was yelling to me, "Mom! There's a huge bug, it's a big one!" It was a spider and after I had killed it she said, "that was a serious bug!" Cute cute cute! 4-29-08
2008 "My food is in my tummy and it comes out my bum," she is learning really fast, she is in this phase where she wants to know about the body parts, interesting phase.
2007.10 "Mom, can you do me a favorite?" I guess I always ask her to do me 'favors' and she wanted me to do her one, just used a different word, funny girl!
