I wonder if you guys have ever seen one of these bugs? Cory and I had never seen one until moving here. We were totally freeked out when we saw one. We have now killed three since being here. I googled the bug to find out what it was and came across this website that made me think maybe I shouldn't kill them, they eat just about every other bug, so hopefully we won't have a bunch of spiders and ants now. They are really disgusting, but maybe it's worth living with one if they stay out of site and keep the spiders away! I don't know. I guess I had never seen one in Utah because they like moist areas and here, where it's more humid, is a better environment for them, unfortunately. Anyway check it out if you dare! http://images.whatsthatbug.com/cent.html it's the house centipede right below the first bug.
Things here in New York are going well. We get more settled every day. My days usually consist of taking care of the two kids, keeping the house clean, cooking, going to the park if it's not too muggy outside (like today), and spending time with Cory when he is home. There really isn't much time to do anything else, the two kids keep me very busy.
We have banned the movie "Shrek" from being watched at our house now after Lucy started asking people, "are you stupid?" but it will always hold a place in our hearts and we'll get it out again when the kids are a little bit older, he he.
Well, gotta go, Lucy is dressed up in her "princess dress" and we are gonna play. Life goes on.

That's pretty gross! I'm glad I have never seen one of those in LA. Although we have ant problems year-round here, I think I can handle ants crawling on my arm vs. just seeing one of those centipedes. Good luck! he, he!
